If you want easy summer colour, Marigolds are difficult to beat.

Their cheerful flowers create gorgeous splashes of yellow, orange and gold amongst green foliage and, with a little regular deadheading, can keep producing flowers throughout the season.

They're brilliant for filling gaps in sunny borders, brightening pots and containers and bringing instant colour to patios.

And because they're straightforward to grow, they're a lovely choice if you're growing flowers from seed for the first time.
